Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Architectural Conservation, Historic Buildings, Archaeology, or related field
Experience- Knowledge of historic buildings and conservation issues
- Report writing and archival research (mapping, primary & secondary sources)
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with Statements of Significance, Need, faculty applications, and consent forms
- Ability to assist in site inspections, photographic documentation, and condition surveys
- Organized and methodical; team-oriented with willingness to learn
- IHBC membership (or working towards it) is desirable

Job DescriptionAs a Built Heritage Consultant, you will:
- Assist in preparing Statements of Significance and Need
- Support site visits, inspections, and fabric documentation
- Conduct desk-based historic research using maps and archives
- Draft planning documents, faculty applications, and statutory forms
- Contribute to conservation appraisals and planning submissions
- Collaborate with local authorities, DAC officers, and heritage professionals
- Attend internal team meetings and external consultations (remote or on-site)
- Maintain organized records and reports using studio systems
- Embrace a collaborative, learning-driven team culture
