Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30am–3:30pm

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Barry area.

If you’ve supported children in any capacity—sports coaching, care work, youth groups, or even within your family, we’d love to hear from you. Full guidance and support are provided.

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil throughout the school day
• ✨ Help create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
• Build a strong working rapport with the student
• Deliver constructive and accessible feedback on their work
• ⏳ Support pupils with a range of additional needs (including Autism, ADD/ADHD, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, and others)
• Assist in managing challenging behaviour with patience and positivity

• Has an open, inclusive approach to supporting Additional Learning Needs
• Brings positivity, energy, and patience to the classroom
• Is passionate about helping children achieve their best
• Wants to enhance every child’s learning experience
• Feels comfortable working in a school environment
• Is motivated to learn and grow within the education sector

• Competitive weekly pay at £13.75 an hour
• Ongoing personal support from a dedicated consultant
• Guidance through the process of obtaining your Enhanced DBS & EWC registration

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
