Pay: £13.75 per hour (PAYE)
Do you have a passion for supporting children and enhancing their learning experience? Are you motivated to help shape young people’s futures and support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)?
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring individual to join our team as a Full-Time ALN Teaching Assistant in primary schools across the Barry and Vale of Glamorgan area.
No previous school experience is required
—just the right attitude and a genuine desire to help children succeed.
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils in the classroom and during daily school activities
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Build a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil
- Deliver clear, constructive feedback to encourage confidence and progress
- Promote a child-led learning approach
- Manage challenging behaviour and confidently support pupils away from triggering environments
- Have an open and inclusive approach to supporting pupils with ALN
- Be positive, patient, and energetic
- Have a genuine passion for helping others
- Be committed to enhancing every child’s learning experience
- Feel comfortable working in a school environment
- Be eager to develop skills and grow within an educational setting
- Competitive weekly pay of £13.75 per hour via PAYE
