Position: Mid-Day Supervisor (Temporary - Reviewed after first year)

Grade 2 SPC 3 £ 24,796 Pro Rata £12.85 Per Hour

As a Mid-Day Supervisor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and enjoyable environment during lunch breaks.

You will be part of a very effective and dynamic team that prioritises the needs of our learners, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Your responsibilities will include supervising children during lunch, encouraging positive interactions, and ensuring their well-being while they enjoy their meals and playtime.

About You

You Will Need:

    Collaborate with staff to ensure a smooth lunchtime experience. Your ability to work well with others is essential

    Maintain a calm demeanour, especially in busy situations. Show empathy towards all learners, understanding their needs and emotions.

    Build trusting relationships with all learners by using positive reinforcement and encouraging respectful interactions.

  • Set Up and Promote Interesting Play

    Activities:

    Organise and encourage engaging play activities that stimulate creativity and teamwork.
  • Use Basic Welsh Language:
    Incorporate simple Welsh phrases to enhance communication and promote our cultural heritage, fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Kind and Considerate:
    Approach every interaction with kindness, ensuring that all students feel valued and respected during their lunchtime.
