the governing body of abercynon community primary school requires 2 teaching assistants (level
3) to join a successful school for pupil ages 3–11 years old. applications are invited from learning support assistants. The governors of abercynon community primary school wish to appoint 2 inspirational teaching assistants with sound knowledge and experience of working in early years.

• support teaching and learning across the primary age range
• deliver structured learning activities under the direction of the class teacher
• support pupils with additional learning needs (aln), emotional wellbeing and behaviour
• assist with planning, preparation and assessment of learning activities
• promote inclusion, safeguarding and positive behaviour
• work collaboratively as part of a team to support the school’s values and ethos
• be given opportunities to support their own professional development
