29 hrs per week/term time - Permanent Post
Salary from £25,989 per annum pro rata. Grade 4 - £25,989 for 29 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £17,892.88 pro rata.

We wish to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our highly capable and committed team. The successful applicant will be committed to excellence and will be focused on providing the very best opportunities and support for all pupils. The focus will be on providing support to those pupils who require additional guidance and help with their learning.
We are seeking individuals with:
- proficiency in Literacy and Numeracy to GCSE level or equivalent
- a passion for learning and wellbeing
- an empathy with young people
- excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Learning Support Assistants work alongside staff and students to:
- enhance the learning of students with a wide range of learning needs
- enable students to gain independence and participate in the curriculum and in the general life of the school
- provide support in meeting the health and wellbeing needs of individuals
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
Any offer of appointment will be subject to a satisfactory DBS Disclosure and Registration with the Education Workforce Council.
