Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming secondary school in The Vale of Glamorgan who are looking to appoint a Welsh speaking learning support assistant. The school promotes an inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.

The school is looking to take on a Welsh speaking learning support assistant on a temporary basis with an ASAP start. The successful assistive learner will support pupils with ALN on both a one-to-one and small group basis, while also assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Experience working with children or young people within an educational setting
• Experience supporting pupils with ALN
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
