Welsh Speaking Secondary School - LSA

Teacher Active is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan for a Welsh-speaking Learning Support Assistant (LSA).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support pupils within a mainstream primary school, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide high-quality classroom support and encourage a positive, inclusive learning environment.

This is a temporary position starting in September.

The successful candidate will:

Be fluent in Welsh and confident communicating through the medium of Welsh.
Have previous experience working within an educational setting.
Be passionate about supporting young people in their learning and development.
Be patient, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Be flexible, reliable, and committed to promoting an inclusive learning environment.
Be able to support pupils both in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one interventions where required.
