Hours of Work / Weeks per year / Working Pattern: 5 Hours per week / 37 weeks per year / daily during term time (subject to change depending on the needs of the school)

Main Place of Work:
St Athan Primary School

• Support individuals and groups of pupils to enable access to the breakfast club, including those requiring detailed specialist knowledge in specific areas or personal care.
• Work under the guidance of the Breakfast Club senior supervisor and/or the school leadership team within an agreed system of supervision.

• Food hygiene certification.
• Appropriate first aid training.

• How to support children with breakfast.
• The principles of child development.
• Principles of positive behaviour management.
• Safeguarding processes.
• Returning data / processing orders.

• Work within a team environment.
