The school is looking to appoint a part-time Catering / Food Technology Teacher to work 4 days per week on a temporary basis from September. The successful Catering / Food Technology Teacher will deliver engaging Food Technology and Catering lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, planning and assessing high-quality lessons, maintaining excellent classroom standards and supporting students to develop both practical cooking skills and a strong understanding of nutrition and food preparation.

The successful Catering / Food Technology Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Design and Technology or Food Technology specialism (NQTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Catering and Food Technology up to Key Stage 4
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong curriculum knowledge and lesson planning abilities
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
