Job Description

Artek is seeking a skilled and proactive Civil Engineer to join our engineering and infrastructure team. The role involves planning, designing, and managing a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring delivery that meets safety, quality, and cost benchmarks. The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle—from feasibility through to construction oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, models, and technical documents
  • Conduct site inspections, surveys, and feasibility studies
  • Ensure designs comply with UK building codes and regulations
  • Liaise with contractors, local authorities, and clients
  • Identify and resolve engineering challenges
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Manage documentation and prepare regular progress reports
Required Skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software
  • Strong knowledge of UK construction standards and safety regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage projects independently and in a team
  • Experience with budgeting and scheduling is a plus
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BEng);
    Master’s degree (MEng/MSc) preferred
  • 2–5 years of relevant UK-based experience
  • Working towards or achieved Chartered status (ICE or equivalent)
  • Valid UK driving licence (for site travel)
