• Provide technical operation support for The Spotlight’s busy events and entertainments programme.
• Ensure smooth running of all technical aspects of productions, including cinema, conferences, and private functions.
• Rig, set up, and operate sound, lighting, and stage equipment according to the venue’s schedule.
• Supervise and manage casual technicians as part of a varied technical role.
• Apply health and safety practices, communicate effectively, and work flexibly as a team player.

• At least three years of experience as a professional theatre technician in a multifunctional venue.
• Experience with sound, lighting, set building, and stage management in theatre productions.
• In‑depth knowledge of Health and Safety issues.
• Excellent customer care, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility for duties and working hours, including evenings and weekends.
• First Aid at work training (or willingness to obtain).
• Fire Marshal training (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong logistical skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English for public interaction.
• Electrical installation and formal backstage technical qualifications desirable.
