Apply now JOB DESCRIPTION Part-Time Personal Assistant A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF I am a woman living within the St Athan area with my family.
I have a connective tissue disorder and I am looking to employ someone to assist me with daily activities and tasks both in and out of my home.
My condition can fluctuate from time to time but I have a sound understanding on how to deal with this.
Support may be required to help me get to personal appointments and therefore it is important that I build a good relationship with my PA. PURPOSE OF JOB I am looking to employ someone to assist me so that I can maintain a routine, keep my household running smoothly, and remain independent.
HOURS OF WORK 6 hours per week minimum, with potential to increase to 10 hours per week on occasion.
The ideal candidate will also be willing to cover shifts when my other PA is on annual leave or sick leave.
RATES OF PAY £14.25 per hour Mileage to be discussed in interview.
TASKS INVOLVED Domestic tasks such as laundry and cleaning Meal preparation and cooking Shopping or running errands with or without me if required Driving me to appointments or other commitments Assistance with some personal care tasks when necessary Assisting with organisational tasks such as completing my diary, creating shopping lists, meal planning, appointment booking, etc.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED Someone who respects the privacy and confidentiality of working in someone else’s home Someone who enjoys housework Someone who is reliable and flexible Someone who is understanding and non-judgemental Car driver with licence ABOUT THE JOB This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment.
The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.
Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number.
Employment will commence under an initial trial period.
Wages will be paid on a four-weekly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
