Adults Social Worker – Learning Disabilities Vale of Glamorgan £33.83 per hour (Umbrella) Full-time | 3-month contract (maternity cover) Immediate start available
Are you an experienced Social Worker with a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives?
About the roleYou’ll be working closely with individuals and their families to promote independence, wellbeing, and choice—ensuring people can lead fulfilled and purposeful lives within their communities.
Your day-to-day will include:- Carrying out assessments and care planning
- Delivering person-centred and strengths-based interventions
- Managing a caseload within a Learning Disabilities team
- Working collaboratively with families, carers, and multi‑agency partners
- Ensuring plans are outcome-focused and meet performance standards
- Proven experience within Learning Disabilities services (essential)
- Strong skills in assessment, care planning, and care management
