In this senior advisory role, you'll act as a key HR partner to managers and employees across the organisation. Your work will include:
Providing practical, confident HR advice on performance, absence, conduct, and wider employee relations matters
Managing complex employee relations cases from start to finish, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes
Coaching managers to develop their people management skills and build high-performing teams
Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies, processes, and practices that improve the employee experience
Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, induction, and wider employee lifecycle activities
Using HR data to spot trends, identify risks, and recommend improvements
Ensuring HR operations are accurate, compliant, and run smoothly
Contributing to HR projects that strengthen workforce capability and support organisational change
You're likely to thrive in this role if you bring:
Strong, hands-on experience in HR advisory work, particularly employee relations
Confidence managing complex and sensitive cases with discretion and sound judgement
The ability to coach and influence managers at different levels
A genuine interest in organisational development and improving how people experience work
A collaborative, approachable style and strong relationship-building skills
Experience with in manufacturing or a similar operational environment
Experience improving or implementing HR policies or processes
Confidence using HRIS platforms and HR data to inform decisions
A strong commitment to compliance and best practice
CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) - essential
CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent), or working towards - desirable but not essential
Salary up to £45,000 per year
