Next Ventures is seeking an Oracle Cloud Service Consultant for a contract role with our client in the UK.

Duration: 7 months
- Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle Fusion Service Cloud modules across end‑to‑end service life cycles.
- Drive requirement‑gathering workshops with business stakeholders to understand customer service, after‑sales processes.
- Perform gap analysis and future‑state solution design, translating business needs into scalable Oracle Fusion Service configurations.
- Configure and deploy Oracle Fusion Service modules including:
Service Requests (SR Management), Knowledge Management, Service Contracts & Entitlements Service Request, in junction with Maintenance Work Order Design and configure service workflows, SLAs, escalations. - Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Inventory teams to ensure integrated service‑to‑cash and service‑to‑repair processes.
- Support and design integrations with related Oracle modules such as Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, Installed Base, and Receivables.
- Prepare and maintain functional design documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, test scenarios, and user guides following project governance standards.
- Lead UAT, defect management, cutover planning, and go‑live support, ensuring timely delivery and high solution quality.
- Conduct end‑user training and change‑management activities to drive solution adoption and operational readiness.
- Act as a trusted functional advisor, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment with business KPIs.
- Field Service (OFS / Fusion Field Service) – Nice to have
Skills & experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Service implementations
- 2–3 full‑cycle Oracle Fusion Service Cloud rollouts
- Strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Service modules
- Hands‑on configuration and deployment experience
- Working experience with Install Base (Enterprise and Customer Assets both)
- Solid understanding of after‑sales service, warranty, repair
- Field service processes is nice to have
- Experience with cross‑module integrations (Service ↔ Inventory ↔ SCM ↔ Finance)
- Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP integrations is a strong plus
- Strong leadership and client engagement capabilities with a focus on building long‑term relationships
- Self‑starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge‑sharing initiatives
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and best practices in procurement transformation
