Purpose of RoleThis is a fixed-term maternity cover position for a Lead Marketing Account Manager, responsible for ensuring continuity, performance, and progression across our Marketing Services function.
You will lead and manage the Marketing Account Management team, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality marketing strategies and services. Alongside team leadership, you will take ownership of Keyloop’s largest and most strategically important Managed Service accounts, driving measurable performance and long-term growth.
A key focus of this role is to explore, evaluate, and introduce AI-driven opportunities across marketing services - identifying ways to improve efficiency, performance, and client value through emerging technologies.
You will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and your team to deliver results-driven marketing strategies aligned to customer objectives, while also supporting innovation and operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management- Lead, manage, and develop the Marketing Account Management team of four, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance oversight
- Ensure consistent quality of service, strategic thinking, and client delivery across the team
- Set clear objectives and drive accountability for performance and development
- Own and lead Keyloop’s largest Managed Service accounts, acting as senior strategic partner
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimisation of marketing strategies for key clients
- Build strong executive-level relationships and drive long-term growth and retention
- Proactively explore AI tools, trends, and technologies relevant to digital marketing
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into marketing services (e.g. automation, optimisation, insights, content generation)
- Pilot and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance performance, scalability, and efficiency
- Act as an internal advocate for innovation and continuous improvement
- Develop and oversee multi-channel marketing strategies (SEO, PPC, paid social) aligned to client objectives
- Ensure campaigns deliver against KPIs, revenue targets, and ROI expectations
- Use data (GA4, BI tools, marketing platforms) to analyse performance and inform strategic recommendations
- Lead client status calls, monthly and quarterly business reviews, presenting performance insights and forward strategies
- Act as a senior escalation point and trusted advisor for key clients
- Support new business pitches and strategic proposals
- Work closely with GTM, Customer Success, and Product teams to identify growth opportunities and reduce churn
- Educate internal stakeholders on marketing services and their alignment to Keyloop’s wider product offering
- Identify and develop case studies in collaboration with brand and communications teams
- Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, particularly in SEO, PPC, and paid social
- Maintain awareness of automotive and technology trends to inform innovation and strategy
- Proven experience in a digital marketing role (typically 4+ years)
- Experience managing or leading a team of client-facing professionals
- Strong experience handling large, complex, or enterprise-level accounts
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver strategic marketing plans
- Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and paid social
- Experience using Google Analytics (GA4) and data analysis tools
