• Be the first point of contact for customer support calls and emails
• Help customers resolve IT issues through first-line support
• Log and manage support requests
• Work alongside experienced engineers on customer projects
• Carry out general administration where required
• Support the wider team with day-to-day operations
• Assist with Microsoft 365 migrations, device preparation, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity projects

We are Orbits IT, and we are offering a Junior IT Support Apprentice opportunity within our Service Desk team in Barry, South Wales. This apprenticeship is designed to start a long-term career in IT, combining real hands‑on experience from day one with ongoing mentoring and a recognised IT qualification. You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, supporting a wide range of businesses while developing your skills in modern technologies including Microsoft 365, networking, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
