40 hours per week (flexible rota with on-call duties)

We’re recruiting an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a well-established children’s home in Blaenau Gwent. This key leadership role oversees the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and team performance.

You’ll be supporting young people with complex needs, including Autism, EBD, and those at risk of CSE, within a trauma-informed, child-centred environment.

• Leading the home in line with RISCA, safeguarding, and inspection frameworks
• Managing staff recruitment, supervision and development
• Acting as Designated Safeguarding Officer
• Overseeing care planning, behaviour support, and risk management
• Promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
• Driving continuous improvement and service development

• Level 5 Health and Social Care – Children & Young People
• Registered with Social Care Wales and on the DBS Update Service (Preferred)
• At least 2 years’ experience managing a children’s residential home (Preferred)
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, HR and regulatory standards
• Experience supporting children with Autism, EBD and CSE
• Full UK driving licence (manual)
