Assistant Manager – Full Time

We are looking to recruit a new Assistant Manager for our shop in Aylestone, Leicester. This position is permanent full‑time with a variety of shifts over 5 days each week, normally including at least one weekend shift.

Full time employees are expected to be available to work across the week, including weekends.

• Salary: £31,449 – £32,648 per annum (43‑hour contract)

• Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide great customer service.
• Develop the team of retail assistants through coaching, mentoring and feedback.
• Act as shop manager in their absence, ensuring customers are looked after and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, tidy shop.
• Motivate and guide the team to control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
• Support the shop manager with recruitment and induction of new team members.

• Some experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor.
