We are looking for a
** Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
** to join our team on a double-day shift pattern. In this role, you will carry out maintenance and installation of engineering services, plant, and equipment within a manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring equipment effectiveness and availability, supporting our production teams to achieve performance targets.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and company EHS policies.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults promptly.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen events.
* Participate in planned maintenance shutdowns and major repairs.
* Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and maintenance history.
* Provide operational cover for shift engineers when required.
** What We’re Looking For
*** Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills with experience in a manufacturing setting.
* Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot engineering systems.
* Knowledge of CMMS platforms and lean manufacturing principles.
* Completed mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (NVQ Level
3) or equivalent.
* HNC/HND qualification desirable.
* Experience with plastic extrusion or injection moulding is a plus.
* IPAF & FLT training desirable.
