NMB Minebea UK Ltd is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of precision spherical bearings, rod ends and landing gear components for aerospace, defence and industrial sectors.

As part of the Minebea Mitsumi Group the company supplies major manufacturers including Airbus and Rolls Royce. As the business continues to grow it is now seeking a CMM Technician Operator to support high‑integrity inspection activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing detailed inspection reports and maintaining accurate quality documentation
  • Programming, modifying and optimising CMM inspection routines across complex components
  • Performing first‑off in process and final inspections in line with GD&T requirements
  • Working with engineering, production and quality teams to resolve measurement issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement activity across metrology methods and inspection processes

Qualifications:

  • Apprentice trained experience ideally within machining and aerospace manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, CAD models and GD&T principles
  • Familiarity with CMM software such as PC DMIS, Calypso, CAMIO or similar
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical problem‑solving capability

£55,000 – £65,000 base, plus up to 20% shift premium
