Are you a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for driving production team performance? My client are seeking a dedicated Production Shift Manager to join their fast-paced and innovative production team. A family ran business, this company is in a very secure position with recently opened new site bolstering the businesses outlook. As a Production Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of manufacturing processes while leading and developing a team of skilled operators.
& Responsibilities:
- Leading and supporting production staff throughout the shift.
- Coordinating daily production activities and ensuring schedules are achieved.
- Liaising with Planning and Management to meet production requirements.
- Monitoring product quality and responding promptly to production or quality issues.
- Training, developing and supporting production team members.
- Ensuring company procedures, PPE, health & safety and hygiene standards are followed.
- Managing labour effectively to ensure production runs efficiently.
- Supporting continuous improvement and ensuring 5S principles are maintained.
Skills & Experience:
- Leadership experience within a manufacturing setting.
- Has strong leadership and communication skills.
- Has a strong understanding of quality, health & safety and production standards.
- manual handling etc - Can motivate and develop a production team.
