As a Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a knowledgeable, welcoming in‑store experience, supporting the smooth operation of the shop floor and ensuring every customer leaves feeling confident in their purchase.

As a Supervisor you go to lead by example, support colleagues each shift and assist with daily operational tasks as directed by Store Management, while upholding the high service, presentation and performance standards of Blacks.

• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting customers, resolving queries and ensuring team presentation meets Blacks standards.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in‑store systems to access the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised and aligned with Blacks’ brand expectations.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up and supporting accurate till operations.

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a fast‑paced retail or customer‑facing environment.
• Strong communication skills with confidence to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to uphold high standards across service, presentation and store operations.
• Passion for retail and the outdoors, with good product knowledge and the ability to represent the Blacks brand.
• Energetic, hands‑on leader who thrives in a busy, fast‑moving store environment.
• Confident problem solver with strong customer resolution skills.
• Interest in outdoor products, technical gear and visual merchandising.
• Team‑focused mindset with a positive, supportive approach.
