Opportunity
Working on behalf of my client, Interaction Recruitment has a great opportunity for an experienced transport planner based in the North East.
The role primarily is Monday - Friday. Typical shifts are 08.00 - 17:00.
Key Duties and Experience for this role include:- Plan and manage loads to agreed KPI levels
- Ensure planned work is achievable with road transport directive and EU drivers rules & regulations
- Liaise with customers and depots to ensure all targets and deliveries are met, and ensure that the scheduling of work is accurate and up to date on traffic management system
- Ensure that vehicle management, including liaison with fleet workshop wheel security, and monitoring of vehicle gross weights is undertaken and compliant
- Ensure that all administrative tasks associated with the operation are completed to the required standard and deal with daily operational problems
A CPC qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
