Our facility is a compassionate and high-quality skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services. We strive to create a supportive environment for both our residents and our team members. We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and ensure the highest standards of care.

The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within the facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining a focus on person-centered care. This leadership role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can lead, develop, and support the nursing team while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the facility.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including infection control, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
• Recruit, train, and supervise nursing staff; foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Monitor staffing levels and acuity to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Coordinate and participate in care planning with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Lead and support quality improvement initiatives and audits.
• Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, families, and other departments.
• Manage budgets related to clinical operations and supplies.

• Valid RN license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Prior experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey readiness, and MDS processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
