Overview
Cashier role at The Home Depot. This range is provided by The Home Depot. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Base pay range
$20.00/hr - $21.00/hr
Responsibilities- Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service at checkout and/or returns.
- Process Checkout and/or Return transactions; monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
- Proactively seek product knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities.
- Follow policies and procedures to minimize shrink.
- Assist in supervision, coaching and training of other Front End Associates; participate in training of new Cashiers; use available tools to coach and develop other Cashiers.
- Support Head Cashier by expediting price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
- Preferred qualification: 1+ years of Cashier experience.
