The non‑exempt job classification is covered under The McNamara‑O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). Service employees are compensated per the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits set by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Wage and Hour Division.

Job Summary

This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Responsibilities include segregating work by commodity area or function, managing supply actions, and applying established guidelines to resolve supply issues.

Essential Functions
  • Perform supply/warehouse activities for receipt, storage, issue, and inventory functions of equipment.
  • Resolve discrepancies including shortages, overages, duplicate shipments, misdirected shipments, and transportation discrepancies.
  • Research and coordinate with local and depot-level Item Managers and Installation customers to resolve receiving variances.
  • Prepare and submit supply and transportation documentation.
  • Track requisition statuses, conduct follow‑up actions, and receive supplies.
  • Adjust inventory records within applicable system(s).
  • Ensure proper funding and shipping requirements for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Perform inventory, issue supplies, and manage technical aspects of inventory and storage.
  • Conduct causative research for inventory adjustments and recommend improvements.
  • Provide customer service support on requests for information, inspections, and shipping status.
  • Perform storage inspections, minor packaging repair, and limited material testing.
  • Communicate with customers to measure and improve satisfaction.
  • Apply real‑time physical updates to NSN attributes at the bin face.
  • Maintain records of NSNs, LSNs, CAGE, and service unique stock numbers.
  • Conduct location surveys and physical verifications of assets.
  • Provide on‑call after‑hours assistance as assigned.
  • Follow guidelines in performing day‑to‑day tasks per SOPs, Technical Manuals, and Audit Readiness standards.
  • Adhere to government, contract, and company policies and procedures.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
  • Subject to mandatory drug testing.
  • Handle equipment/supplies up to 50 pounds individually and occasionally more with assistance.
  • Exert moderate physical effort in loading, unloading, and arranging equipment/supplies.
  • Work inside and/or outside in dirty and dusty environments; exposure to hot, cold, damp, and drafty conditions may occur.
  • Work on hard or uneven surfaces.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skilled in planning, controlling, executing, multi‑tasking, and completing work requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
  • Possess or obtain a security clearance or military Common Access Card (CAC) within 30 days if required.
  • Complete contractual and company‑mandated trainings applicable to the position.
Education
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior military experience.

Salary: $36.12 per hour.
