Operations Manager
ABB is a global leader in industrial solutions. We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead purchasing and logistics strategies that support our business.
This position reports to the Operations Manager and will be located in the Process Automation, Measurement and Analytics division in Bartlesville, OK.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Lead a team to execute purchasing and logistics strategies that optimize costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and products.
- Ensure execution aligns with company and procurement team instructions and procedures.
- Implement effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to ensure suppliers meet current and future requirements.
- Drive improvement in cost, quality, and delivery in accordance with group and business area procurement guidelines.
- Secure full utilization of the SAP Ariba platform for sharing supplier information and identifying high-performing suppliers.
- Plan and track procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending, and savings forecasts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related disciplines.
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management in global complex companies, preferably in direct material, industrial automation, automotive, and aerospace environments.
- Strong understanding of regulations, geopolitical environment, contractual law, international trade, and code standards at global, local, and regional levels.
- Highly proactive, results‑driven attitude with strategic decision‑making from a global perspective. Experience in change management is a distinct plus.
- Experience working in a highly international and multi‑cultural environment.
- Proficiency in SAP and knowledge of SAP Ariba.
