Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Echo Tech with at least 1 year of experience and current BLS certification to join a cardiac ultrasound team for a 13-week assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a cardiac ultrasound department performing echocardiography procedures
- Day shift position from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Involves direct patient care and high-quality cardiac imaging
- Responsibilities include both imaging and department leadership, including workflow and quality control
- Lead daily operations and provide guidance, orientation, and performance input to the imaging staff
- Responsible for maintaining equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and monitoring documentation accuracy
- Submit high-quality images to PACS with correct patient data and lead markers
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized department and work areas
- Travelers may be asked to extend assignments; discuss interest 45 days in advance
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
- Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rules
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- License required if applicable
- Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
