Work model:
Onsite in Bartlesville, OK.

• Working with product management to influence design decisions, with procurement to better align supply and sourcing strategies, and with demand planners to influence activities that can improve profit or customer service, or reduce inventory.
• Owner of the site supply planning process. Provides visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Hub/PG S&OP process. Provides feedback into S&OP process of site’s ability to support the demand plan.
• Owns the inventory or NWC check book for the local unit. Establishes and maintains inventory management processes including raw materials, WIP, finished goods in line with Group/Division/Business Unit instructions. Is accountable for inventory within the site, and drives inventory optimization projects within the site.
• Runs a short‑term planning process or S&OE process, connecting planning with execution. Coordinates an appropriate response to unplanned events. Supports the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with project management, engineering, manufacturing and procurement.
• Leads/contributes to cross‑functional initiatives for optimizing customer on‑time delivery, lead time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy. Uses lean Six Sigma tools whenever applicable. Collaborates with other units in the end‑to‑end supply chain.
• Leads local planning function and ensures (with HR Manager support) that local planning teams are properly organized, staffed, and skilled and directed. Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee.
• Contributes to the short‑term planning process, and links the operations plan to the short‑term production schedule.
• Identifies root causes for deviation from the production plan and implements initiatives to improve this and ensures that planning bills of materials are up to date, and generates material plans based on supply plans.
• Defines the material planning strategies and PFEP, regularly reviews and updates production and material planning parameters, schedules/balances production orders, and controls the end‑to‑end order fulfilment from order booking and confirmation to planning, scheduling, control, fulfilment and customer care: aligns with Sales Unit on the latest/revised delivery plans.

• A Bachelor’s Degree and/or 8+ years of experience in manufacturing (scheduling, working as planner/scheduler, etc.) is required.
• Sound knowledge of SAP and Microsoft products.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma tools.
• A collaborative, solution‑focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the U.S.
