Monel Coating Technician

2nd Shift ($23 Plus $2.00/hr Shift Differential)

3:30PM - 2:00AM

Monday - Friday (Weekends May be Required)

Monel Coating Technician
Operates and maintains equipment used to apply Monel protective coatings to equipment, ensuring high-quality corrosion-resistant finishes.

Responsibilities include surface preparation, coating application, inspection, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Collaborates with production teams to meet specifications, troubleshoot issues, and maintain efficient workflow in a manufacturing environment

* Under direct supervision of either a Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Technician, perform assigned higher-level maintenance activities.
* Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems, accurately capturing maintenance related data.

* Comply with Schlumberger and respective division TLM standards.

* Maintain and build competency in compliance with the TLM Competency Management System.

* Participate in and support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.

Experience:

High School Diploma required (or GED)

1-2 years preferred, but not required

Painting/Coating experience preferred

Manufacturing background
