American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of OR nursing experience and a compact or OK RN license.

• Operating Room department in a hospital setting
• Shift schedule Monday through Friday,  with rotating call and late shifts

• Active RN license (Compact or OK state) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provides direct nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Implements and monitors patient care plans while recording and communicating patient condition
• Coordinates care across disciplines and carries out physician and nursing orders
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rules
