Head Cashier

We are looking for a Full-Time Permanent Head Cashier to manage operations at Hall Lake Gas Bar in Hall Lake, SK.

• Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees
• Demonstrate experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar
• Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks, and wastage
• Monitoring shelve stocks, product displays, and the general appearance of the store
• Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers
• Addressing customer requests, comments, and complaints
• Motivating employees to achieve targets
• Training new staff members and assisting with scheduling shifts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Oversee the store’s front‑end with respect to loss prevention
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
• Process/inspect merchandise returns and exchanges
• Receive payment by cash, check, and credit card

• Must have a high‑school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must have 1‑year experience in a retail environment and be familiar with cash outs, invoicing, inventory, coding, and have a proven track record of excellent customer relationship skills
• Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and word‑processing software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying levels of priority
• A combination of education and experience may be considered
• MUST provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
