The Business Account Executive will be responsible for growing the commercial account base. Be part of our innovation-building and delivering a fiber‑rich internet connection to people’s doorsteps.
What You Will Do- Produce consistent sales results that meet or exceed defined sales production quota.
- Target new commercial accounts within an assigned territory.
- Grow assigned commercial account base.
- Be responsible for daily cold calling activities and funnel management.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of data, Internet, video and voice products and associated applications.
- Manage customer relationships to assure satisfaction with services and prompt resolution of issues.
- Produce competitive analysis and sales proposals.
- Assume responsibility for forecasting and measuring results.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of experience in sales, preferably in telecommunications.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Competency in verbal, written, and presentation skills for both internal and external personnel at various levels.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize sales initiatives, projects, and performance objectives with clearly defined metrics.
- Strong collaboration with peers and leadership to provide key on‑ground insights to help guide regional strategy.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in changing and/or challenging situations.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite:
Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, One Note. - Experience with ICOMS and Salesforce.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to sit, bend, reach, push, and pull.
- Required to use hands, handle objects and paperwork.
- Required to be able to focus.
- Required to refrain from personal use of technology during working hours.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Required to lift up to 5 lbs at a given time.
