Fontbonne Hall Academy is seeking a dynamic and organized Athletic Director to oversee all aspects of our athletic program. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for empowering young women through sports. This role includes the management of athletic operations, team oversight, scheduling, compliance, social media marketing, recruitment, and promotion of all athletic events.

• Provide vision, direction, and oversight for all athletic teams and programs.
• Supervise, evaluate, and support coaches to ensure alignment with school mission and athletic standards.
• Coordinate practice schedules, game schedules, transportation, and facility use.

• Ensure compliance with all league, conference, and school policies, including safety protocols.
• Manage athletic budgets, equipment inventory, and uniforms.
• Oversee facility preparation for practices, games, and special events.

• Partner with the Admissions Office to support student‑athlete recruitment.
• Highlight athletic opportunities during open houses, buddy days, and recruitment events.
• Build relationships with feeder schools, community sports programs, and local athletic organizations.

• Develop and execute a social media strategy to promote athletic programs, student‑athletes, and game‑day highlights.
• Collaborate with the Admissions Office to create engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and the school website.
• Produce and distribute promotional materials for games, championships, tryouts, and athletic events.
• Ensure timely posting of schedules, results, achievements, and news.

• Increase attendance and community engagement at games and tournaments.
• Organize special events such as senior nights, pep rallies, and award ceremonies.
• Coordinate volunteers, security, and game‑day staff as needed.

• Foster a positive and inclusive athletic culture centered on teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
• Support academic monitoring and holistic development of student‑athletes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students participating in athletics.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in athletic administration, coaching, or school leadership.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proficiency with social media marketing and content creation.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Fontbonne Hall Academy.

Salary Range (based on experience): $70,000 to $85,000
