Salary $50,387 - $60,377 ANNUALLY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities- This position works under the direct supervision of the Assistant City Engineer and the City Engineer Director to inspect, monitor and manage construction projects for compliance with the City of Bartlett Standard Specifications.
- These projects may include (but are not limited to) Capital Improvement projects, Residential, Commercial, Industrial Land Development projects as well as street paving projects, bridge projects, storm water compliance & concrete projects, utility projects, etc.
- This employee will also respond to citizen drainage complaints.
- We are seeking a good team player who works well under pressure and can represent the Engineering Department well to the public.
- Experience in Construction Plans & Review.
- Experience in daily monitoring & inspection of Land development and Municipal construction projects preferred.
- Experience in inspection of projects for compliance with erosion prevention & sediment control (EPSC) preferred.
- Two years’ experience in Municipal Construction, or some closely related field.
- Experience requiring the use of a PC and various Microsoft Office and software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Minimum age of 18. Must pass a background screen, driver’s license verification and physical exam, including a drug test.
- Outside work in all weather conditions is required on a regular basis.
- May need to lift items of 50 lbs. or less.
- Must be able to drive and have a TN Driver’s license that must remain valid as condition of continued employment.
