ROW Closing Assistant – Memphis, TN

• Research, review, and complete title reports.
• Research, draft, and review warranty deeds, easements, leases, sub‑leases, and releases (partial and full).
• Review and analyze title reports, mortgages, liens, property descriptions, and legal descriptions.
• Identify title defects and curative requirements, and take actions to clear title curatives.
• Escalate title issues when necessary.
• Close acquisition and relocation parcels and deliver warrants.

• Experience comparable to a paralegal or title agent in real‑estate transactions.
• Three or more years of right‑of‑way, title, paralegal or real‑property law experience.
• Proficient in researching, reviewing, and analyzing title reports and related documents.
• Understanding of property description principles (parent parcel, metes and bounds, subdivision).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and document work accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; ability to prepare clear reports and correspondence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS mapping, reading roadway construction plans, deeds, and plats.

• Good driving record.
