- Accurately fill and label medication orders with correct strength, dosage form, and quantity in a timely manner.
- Accurately stock automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs) and maintain ADC cleanliness; destock expired meds from ADC.
- Check medication rooms and patient bins for discontinued or expired meds and return them to pharmacy.
- Re-package and label oral medications/extemporaneous preparations and maintain appropriate records.
- Stock medications into pharmacy inventory, including sterile compounding areas.
- Assist in performing various duties as assigned.
- Provide assistance in dispensing functions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, including purchasing, inventory control, sterile product preparation, equipment maintenance, and automated dispensing cabinet equipment and inventory maintenance.
