Job Summary:

* We are currently representing a role on behalf of our industry-leading client based in the North-East Lincolnshire region, this would be a great opportunity to step into a company that has a strong reputation for offering development and growth opportunities.

* The Material Planner is responsible for planning and ordering of products across multiple categories required to keep the business in stock.

Main Duties:

* Managing relationships with suppliers to ensure they are delivering on time and in full and can always support us should any issues arise.

* Clear collaboration with the purchasing team and NPD team supporting the birth and retirement of SKUs.

* Plan and place purchase orders with suppliers based on previous usages, customer orders whilst adhering to suppliers lead times and shutdowns to ensure we have sufficient inventory levels across all sites.

* Maintain accurate records within the system.

* Other general admin including managing purchase orders to ensure lines are closed down.

Person Specification:

* Previous Materials Planning experience.

* Excellent communication and relationship management abilities with internal departments and external suppliers.

* Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

* Flexibility to support ever changing demands.

* Someone with resilience, not afraid of a challenge and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
