Purpose of Role
Due to continued expansion and growth and internal promotion our client is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager who has experience or working within a fast‑paced manufacturing and distribution environment. You will have experience of working within the FMCG sector or other fast‑paced manufacturing environments.
Job Description- Overseeing 70 / 80 staff across early and late shift
- Making sure that stocking levels are fully replenished at all times
- Working alongside the team during busy times to keep up with demand
- Conducting 1‑2‑1's with operatives
- Making sure Health & Safety is being adhered to at all times
- Keeping all staff up to date with training and certification
- Working with senior Manager to look at ways to improve the Warehouse and Goods in
- Ideally you will have the knowledge of and be able to use some or all of the following
- VNA
- Combi Lift
- Reach Truck
- Counter Balance
- LLOP
- PPT
- L12
- P20 Tow Tractor
- Experience of managing large numbers of operatives
- Be able to motivate staff
- Experience of working in a busy Good In Warehouse
- 2 x Subsidised Canteens
- Free on-site Gym
- Free on-site parking
