About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Contract Design Estimator to join our team at our Head Office.

The purpose of this role is to effectively design and estimate kitchens to our contracts sector. The ideal candidate will be driven, enthusiastic and have high levels of organisational ability. This is a permanent, office-based position.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support new and existing projects, including revisions and technical enquiries.
  • Design and produce detailed kitchen layouts to generate accurate cost estimates, aligned with customer requirements and design specifications.
  • Analyse project plans and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to determine project costs.
  • Compile and submit Design Approval packs to support the sales process.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Manage design modifications and associated cost adjustments throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate effectively with sales, production, project control, site managers, and clients.
  • Participate in design review meetings with clients and sales teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal team members.
  • Maintain up-to-date drawings and pricing data for accurate quoting and project control.

You must comply with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and responsibilities outlined within the Integrated Management System

About You
  • Be creative and technical
  • Fantastic communication skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and planner/CAD software
  • Proficient in reading architectural and kitchen drawings
  • Detail-oriented, budget-conscious, and knowledgeable in kitchen planning, installation, and regulations
  • Experience in high-volume plan creation
  • Estimating or prior design experience
