About The Role

The successful candidate would deliver timely and accurate financial data to support business operations, partnering with department heads to manage budgets effectively and drive cost efficiencies, while ensuring the protection of business assets through strong financial integrity.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of weekly and periodic accounts
  • Variance analysis to budget/forecast/prior year
  • Provide commentary to the business to support accounts schedules
  • Production of periodic KPIs and reporting packs
  • Ownership of Fixed assets
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies/standards and that company policies are followed
  • ONS returns
  • CIS returns
  • Other management and statutory and reporting as required

In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

About You Desired Skills and Knowledge:
  • Qualified or part qualified accountant
  • Previous relevant financial experience gained in industry ideally
  • Excellent attention to detail, quality and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to clearly communicate in a professional manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to deal effectively with both colleagues and suppliers
  • A lasting commitment to 'doing the job right' and challenging the status quo
