Maintenance Facilities Operative

Hours:

Monday to Friday, full-time (40 hours per week), 06:00–14:30 or 07:00-15:30

We are now looking to recruit an additional Maintenance Facilities Operative within our Facilities team based at our site in Barton-upon-Humber.

• Carry out PPMs to set standards and update appropriate records
• Carry out minor mechanical, electrical (where qualified) and plumbing works
• Conduct unplanned maintenance tasks as and when requested by management team
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment
• Check functionality of safety systems
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements (including risk assessments)

• Ability to demonstrate experience of preventative maintenance activities
• Good working knowledge of machine maintenance and operation, and of computerised maintenance management systems
• Previous experience of mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing works, preferably within a facilities background
• Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline e.g plumbing, joinery or carpentry
• IT literate with excellent communication skills
• Pro‑active attitude
