About The Role

The Integrations Developer role helps design, develop and maintain integrations using the Mulesoft Anypoint platform, already in extensive use king as a member of an agile development team, features are created in an environment that encourages learning and the advancement of your technical skills as a developer. There will be genuine opportunities to progress your career.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and build new integrations, ranging from entirely new apps to new features, working with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Test Analysts
  • Help maintain and support existing integrations, with a focus on following best practices
  • Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and API contracts
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

Location:

Head Office 'The Nest' in Barton-Upon-Humber, 1/2 days a week. Visa:
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship and you must hold valid Right to Work in the UK when applying.

About You Essential skills & knowledge
  • At least 2 years’ experience in creating and maintaining integrations using the Mulesoft Anypoint platform, with expertise in API-led connectivity and RAML/OpenAPI
  • Experience with Mule Soft API Manager, Cloud Hub, Runtime Manager and Data Weave
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and message queuing systems
  • Experience with Postman for API testing, debugging, and automation
  • Experience of using version control systems (such as Git) as part of a team
Desirable skills & knowledge
  • Experience working with authentication and security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and SAML
  • Working knowledge of Data Dog or similar monitoring platforms
  • Experience of working with AWS and appropriate services
  • Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies (such as PHP, Type Script, HTML, CSS)
  • Experience of agile project methodologies (and its impact on iterative design)
  • Experience of working in a continuous integration environment
  • Has previously worked for a retailer / understands retail process
