Commercial Driver – Part Time

Overview

Commercial Driver – Part Time at ALLDATA (Auto Zone family). Deliver WOW! customer service by safely operating company-provided vehicles and supporting commercial customers and DIY shoppers with automotive parts delivery. This role focuses on safe driving, reliable delivery operations, and providing excellent service as part of a supportive team.

• Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Delivery Operations – Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
• Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Safety & Compliance – Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through Auto Zone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.

• Minimum Age Requirement:
  Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance:
  Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to driver safety requirements.
• Automotive Knowledge:
  Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Exceptional Communication:
  Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Automotive Retail:
  Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Hazmat Endorsement Preferred: A valid Hazmat endorsement is a plus.
