Description
This position is a Master’s level therapist responsible for providing assessments and counseling services in the FITT (Family Intensive Treatment Team) Program. The individual must have the competence to provide clinical assessments, individual, group, and family therapy. The therapist must have knowledge of mental health and substance abuse diagnoses and treatment per the DSM-5.
QualificationsEducation:
Requires a Master’s degree in the human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, counselor education, etc.), abide by a code of ethical and practice standards, and be committed to ongoing professional development.
Experience:
A minimum of two years of direct experience working with individuals with a substance use diagnosis. Experience working in an agency providing substance use services preferred.
