    Bartow Regional Medical Center – Medical/Surgical ICU – Bartow, Florida
  • Status:
    Full Time
  • Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
  • Every other weekend requirement
  • On Call:
    No

Requirements
  • RN (Registered Nurse) License
  • Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor s or Higher in Nursing
  • 2 years  RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting
  • BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
Registered Nurse – ICU Responsibilities and Skills
  • Work in a hospital setting and independently care for a group of ICU patients using the nursing process and clinical standards
  • Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
  • Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
  • Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments
  • Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
  • Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients
  • Coordinate and document discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
  • Demonstrate high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience
  • Maintain professional accountability and development
