Position Details- Location:
Bartow Regional Medical Center – 2200 Osprey Blvd, Bartow, FL - Status:
Full Time - Shift: 10:45 AM – 11:15 PM
- Every other weekend requirement
- On Call:
No - Always in person

- RN (Registered Nurse) License
- Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
- 1 year registered nurse ER experience
- BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
- PALS certification with the American Heart Association
- Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others
- Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment
- Monitors, records, and updates care team on patient vitals and assessments
- Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
- Responds to medical emergencies for critical patients
- High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
