Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation:
  Operate dozers equipped with GPS technology or finish dozers with precision, following project plans and specifications for grading and leveling.
• Safety:
  Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Maintenance:
  Perform routine equipment maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, and promptly reporting any equipment issues to the maintenance department.
• Accuracy:
  Ensure precise grading and leveling according to project requirements, blueprints, and design specifications.
• Teamwork:
  Collaborate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and fellow team members to coordinate grading activities and achieve project goals.
• Communication:
  Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors, reporting progress, challenges, and equipment issues as needed.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Stay informed about and comply with all relevant regulations, safety guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Problem Solving:
  Identify and address operational challenges or issues that may arise during grading work.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records, including daily equipment inspection reports and work logs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dozer GPS/Finish Dozer Operator in the heavy civil construction industry.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining dozers equipped with GPS technology or finish dozers.
• Knowledge of construction plans, blueprints, and grading techniques.
• Strong commitment to safety and strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at different job sites as required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
